Jacket Bowlers keep rolling

The Cambridge-Isanti adaptive bowling squad continued its season with a split against North Branch May 6.

In the PI category, the Bluejackets topped the Vikings 1559-1379, led by Victoria Koukol with a 451 series, Haley Stoehr-Magnuson throwing a 430 and Dominic Slattery at 407. Also bowling for the Jackets were Cody Beardslee (383), Chrissy Schermerhorn (364) and Jackson Larson (295).

The Vikings tipped the Bluejackets 1489-1357 in the CI division. Pacing Cambridge-Isanti were Austin Sprandal (401), Joshua Cook (327), Jon Furlong (324), and Todd Champion (295).

• Back on April 29, the Bluejackets had a really tight match with St. Michael-Albertville, with the Rolling Knights taking a 1584-1579 win in the PI division. High series for the Jackets were Larson (415), Koukol (403), Slattery (395) and Beardslee (387).

Austin Johnson (415), Champion (402) and Sprandal (386) paced the CI bowlers that morning.

The Bluejackets have one more home meet at Junction Bowl this Friday in preparation for the May 20 State meet in Eden Prairie.
