Bomber track runs well at Lion Pride

Both Braham track & field teams placed 2nd at the May 5 Ogilvie Lion Pride meet which was won by the Ogilvie boys and Mille Lacs girls.

The Bomber boys saw Zach Dahlman winning both the triple jump (33-02) and pole vault (9-06). Luke Whitehead posted a 1st in the 100 (11.4) and anchored the winning 4×100 relay (50.0). More 1st places were turned in by Bryce Lanhart in the 800 (2:26) and Jacob Rajkowski in the 400 (54.4), with Rajkowski adding a 2nd in the 200 (23.8).

Joanna Hale (9-0) and Austyn Eng (8-06) finished 1st and 2nd in the pole vault for the Bomber girls. Rachel Eskuri in the 3200 (12:48) and Becca Dahlman in the 100 (13.5) added more 1st places for Braham.

Also placing 2nd for the girls were Eng in the 300 hurdles (52.6), Jenna Winter in the 800 (2:40) and the 4×800 relay (11:01).

Ogilvie Lion Pride Invite

Boys: Ogilvie 71, Braham 56, Mora 55, McGregor 50. Girls: Mille Lacs 182.5, Braham 58.5, Ogilvie 52, McGregor 31, Mora 19.

• On May 6, the Braham girls were 5th and the boys 7th at the Hinckley-Finlayson Invite. Kate Bendickson in the 1600 (6:02), Eng in the pole vault (9-0) and Eskuri in the 3200 (12:34) all finished 1st. Rajkowski led the boys with a win in the 400 (53.6)
