The best weather of the spring season chanced to come around when the annual Purple Hawk Girls Invite was held April 25. The Bluejackets hosted 13 teams while placing 7th with a 422 total.
Junior Emily Sunderman fired a 44 on the front en route to a 95 total, good for 10th place in the individual standings. Also golfing for the Bluejacket varsity were Leah Schoenecker (101), Megan Hallstrom (110), Alyssa Rapp (116), Anna Sunderman (120) and Megan Koester (124). Brittany Minar added a 120 to lead the JV set.
Eagan, paced by runners-up Jordy Drenttel and Ellie Rohlf at 85, won the invite by 38 strokes over Monticello. Blaine’s Hannah Andrews was the medalist with an 84.
