The Cambridge-Isanti boys possessed a balanced lineup while winning their own Norm Ayen Invite April 21. The Bluejacket boys are now 20-2 on the season.
Billy Eifert in the 3200 (10:14), Jordan Kalk in the high jump (5-10) and the 4×800 relay (8:24) all posted 1st places for the Jackets. Taking 2nd for C-I were Matt Andres in the 110 hurdles (17.5), Casey Golla in the 300 hurdles (42.2), Sam Westerberg in the 800 (2:03), Mark Volker in the pole vault (13-0) and the 4×400 set (3:34.4).
More Bluejacket boys highlights from the Ayen are: 4×400 relay placed 2nd; Joe Illg 3rd in the 1600; Andres 4th in the 300 hurdles; Aaron Kordiak 4th in the 200; Golla 6th in the 110 hurdles; Jason Codner, Kalk and Eric Mielke taking 4th, 5th and 6th in the long jump; Forrest Kalk 5th in the high jump; Jeremy Ham 4th in the discus; Clinton Treichel 6th in both the shot and discus.
• Hannah Mueller had a solid day when the Bluejacket girls placed 3rd at the Ayen. She won both the 100 hurdles (16.3) and long jump (16-08) while adding a 3rd in the triple jump (32-08). Emily Santiago-Holboy doubled up with a 2nd in the shot (33-06) and 4th in the discus (90-11). The Jackets 4×400 also added a 1st place (4:23).
The C-I girls are now 14-7-1 on the season. Additional highlights from the Ayen: Paige Muehlhauser 3rd in the 400; Adelle Nelson 4th and Michelle Ziebarth 6th in the pole vault; Erica Young 5th in the 100; Kylie Baas 5th in the high jump; Lily Porta 5th in the triple; and Carlynn Galeazzi 6th in the 200.

Bombers at Ayen Invite
The Bomber girls placed 2nd in both the 4×100 (54.1) and 4×200 relays (1:53) to highlight their day at CIHS. Joanna Hale led the individuals with a 5th in the pole vault (8-06). Hannah Dahlman was 7th in the 400, and Rachel Eskuri 7th in the 3200. . Jacob Rajkowski placed 2nd in the 400 (54.1) for the Braham boys.
