Mike Strelow struck out 14 while tossing a no-hitter in the Bombers’ huge opening win over GRC defending champ Ogilvie at home.

Strelow opened the game with three walks, but he rallied back to strike out the next three Lions with no damage. He kept cruising with his mix of fastballs and curves to add 11 more K’s over the next six innings.

Cory Ambrose and Nick Lance both went 2-for-3 for Braham, with Strelow and Nick Hammond supplying bit hits, as well.

Not only was Ogilvie the defending conference champ, but they also won last year’s 5A East Subsection title, as well.
