Buffalo and C-I girls track ties at triangular

The Buffalo boys dominated, but the Bison girls tied Cambridge-Isanti when a conference triangular was hosted at CIHS April 12.

Team scoring: Boys– Buffalo 97 (swept 110 hurdles, 1600 run), Cambridge-Isanti 60.5, Becker 29.  Girls– Buffalo 66, Cambridge-Isanti 66, Becker 54.

The Bluejacket girls posted 1st places in the following events: 4×800 Relay (11:06); Erica Young- 100 dash (14.2), Emily Moore- 800 (2:41), Hannah Mueller- long jump (16-11), Emily Santiago-Holboy- shot put (31-01), Pam Englund- discus (83-08).

Placing 2nd for the C-I girls were:  Mueller- 100 hurdles (16.3), Michelle Ziebarth- 100 dash (14.4), Maddie Oullette- 1600 (6:05), Lily Porta- 400 1:04), and Andrea White- 800 (2:43).

The Bluejacket boys racked up 1st places in eight events: Sam Westerberg- 800 (2:03), Billy Eifert- 3200 (10:05), 4×400 Relay (3:35), Mark Volker- pole vault (13-0), Forrest Kalk- high jump (5-10), Jason Codner- long jump (20-01), Adam Muehlhauser- discus (126-0).

Adding 2nd places for the boys: Conner Anderson- pole vault (13-0), Jeremy Ham- discus (123-06).
