ARCC Fastpitch season opens April 14 in Cambridge

The Anoka Ramsey Community College women’s fastpitch sofftball squad will host its first game on the Cambridge campus this Thursday, April 14. The Rams will take on Rochester CC at 3 p.m. on the new field located on the west side of Co. Rd. 70, across the street from the campus. Jillian Jansen of East Bethel, Brittany Jorgenson of Pine City and Angie Oson of Mora are three area players on the Rams’ roster.

 

C-I Men’s 35-Over players, teams sought

Teams and players are encouraged to join the Cambridge-Isanti Men’s 35-Over Masters slowpitch softball league this summer. Games begin early May. Interested parties can contact Brad (763-302-9245).

 

Isanti Redbirds tryouts April 17

The Isanti Redbirds will begin another season of amateur baseball at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 17 with their annual tryout and first practice. Anyone interested in trying out for the ‘Birds is encouraged to bring their glove and spikes to the Redbird Field in Isanti. C-I Men’s Tennis League meets April 18

The Cambridge-Isanti Men’s Tennis League commences on Monday, April 18, 6:30 p.m. at the CIHS tennis courts. This league is open to all men of all abilities and ages. Come on down and get matches with players of your ability in both singles and doubles.

The tennis courts will be resurfaced this summer over June and July, so the league will discuss alternatives for those months. Any questions, contact Paul Tatting (763-689-3990).

 

Sanbrook Golf leagues sign-up

Leagues are now forming for the 2011 season at Sanbrook GC in Isanti. The leagues– Monday 18-hole Senior Men’s, Wednesday Knights of Columbus and Thursday Men’s Two-Man– will start up in early May.
