C-I Boys Track 2nd at True Team Invite
Hosting a True Team Invitational for the outdoor track opener April 8, the Cambridge-Isanti boys placed 2nd to Anoka in the six-team meet. Junior Aaron Kordiak paced the Bluejacket boys by winning the 400 and placing 2nd in the 100.
Mark Volker won the pole vault, and the 4×400 relay also took 1st for C-I. Adding a 2nd place was the 4×800 relay. Taking 3rd for the Jackets were Sam Westerberg in the 800, Billy Eifert in the 3200 and Jeremy Ham in the discus.

• The Bluejacket girls placed 5th behind meet-winner Elk River at the True Team. Senior Hannah Mueller had a huge day for C-I with wins in the 100 hurdles, long jump and triple jump.
Sophomore Kylie Baas added a win in the high jump, and senior Grace Nelson placed 2nd in that event. Lilly Porta added a 2nd place in the 400 for the Jacket girls.
