Women’s Cancer Support Group
Thursday, April 7: A women’s cancer support group will meet from 2:-3:30 p.m. This meeting will focus on issues specific to women who are dealing with cancer. 5th Annual 3Day 60 mile Pancake Breakfast
Saturday, April 9: A Pancake Breakfast will be held at Applebee’s in Cambridge from 8-10 a.m., sponsored by The A Team, who are walking in honor of Annette Hall, survivor. There will also be a Quilt Raffle and Silent Auction. For more info call 763-444-6480.
One-Stop Gift Shop
Sunday, April 10: A One-Stop Gift Shop will be held at the Isanti County Historical Society from 1-4:30 p.m. Classes will be offered that include: Isanti County Master Gardener, “Straw Bale Gardening” 1 p.m.; Premier Design Jewelry Demo, 1:30 p.m.; Pampered Chef Demo, 2 p.m.; Dan VanGorden, Ukranian Egg Demo, 2:30 p.m.; Beauticontrol Demo, 3 p.m.; Scentsy Demo, 3:30 p.m.; ManCave Demo, 4:30 p.m. All vendors are donating a percentage of party sales to the Historical Society. Handmade greeting cards made by Sierra, age 16 and her sister Frankie, age 12, will also be available for purchase, and will donate $.50 cents for every card purchased. ‘Beautiful You’ Program
Thursday, April 14: The Harbor Room will offer “Beautiful You,” from 6:30-8 p.m. It’s a program that provides make-up application instruction and offers various options for women dealing with hair loss while undergoing cancer treatment. Participants receive approximately $200 in Mary Kay make-up plus supplies at no charge. Anyone currently undergoing treatment, or who has completed treatment within the past six months, can attend. Participants are also able to bring a guest; however, guests will not receive free products. Call Bonnie at 763-688-8415 to RSVP and for more information.
Friends of the Grass Lake Church meeting
