I have found the heart and soul that is growing the city of Isanti. In looking for a gown for my 10-year-old daughter to wear for the “Pageant of Hope,” a pageant for girls with special needs, we visited Family Pathways. We were met by a wonderful employee who didn’t just help us look for what we needed, but pulled out every dress that might work in order to help us find the right one.
Our next stop was Demorie Alterations downtown, and what a gem we found in Danna Marie, the owner. Her positive attitude and generous spirit were rare finds in the world of “high turnover” businesses.
Finally, we were blessed to visit Connie Eisen at The Hair Gallery to get my daughter’s nails done and we were treated like royalty. My daughter left there feeling like a princess and she hadn’t even been in the pageant yet. Now, we are not from Isanti, but are so grateful to have such a community nearby that still believes people are important and realizes that success and growth will come through that.
