A quick-response donation outpouring occurred in Braham when a local family lost everything to a house fire on Sunday, March 27.

The Jesse and Angie Rundquist family, with four children attending Braham schools, had their home near Grasston destroyed, including the loss of four family pets.

Jonelle Klemz, the District 314 Family Facilitator, had community neighbors start dropping off donations for the Rundquists on March 28 at the school.

“It was an amazing response for the Rundquists who just got done remodeling the home,” said Klemz on March 29.

Benefit accounts are now established at the Braham branch of Frandsen Bank & Trust, Wells Fargo in Cambridge, and Minnco Credit Union in Isanti, for those wishing to assist the Rundquists. A page has also formed on Facebook by searching “Rundquist Family Benefit.”
