Raw Milk, a Raw Deal?

According to Dairy Bacteriology by Bernard W. Hammer, contamination of milk can come from a variety of sources. Through the use of scientifically proven farming and handling techniques, contamination can be reduced; however, bacteria is always present in spite of any precaution taken. Therefore, testing and careful handling techniques are the answer.

There is an underlying issue surrounding this debate: Freedom. People should be able to choose how they care for their own health. With the rise of statism and Codex Alimentarius, soon we will not know what it is like to posses our unalienable rights. Our freedom to choose how we care for ourselves will be handled by the “experts.”
