Preschool Storytime at Cambridge Public Library
Wednesday, March 30: Spring preschool storytime is set to begin at the Cambridge Public Library. Children ages three to five are invited to join branch librarian, Nancy Dunbar, on Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. at the library from March 30 thru May 18. Taste of Isanti County
Thursday, March 31: The Cambridge-Isanti Rotary Club invites you to the 6th annual Taste of Isanti County event, featuring more than 20 restaurants. It will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Armed Forces Reserve and Community Center in Cambridge. Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
Friday, April 1: The Cambridge Christ the King Knights off Columbus will host its annual Lenten Fish Fry Dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Catholic Parish Hall. All-you-can-eat fish, cole slaw, potatoes and more for $9 adults, $5 children 12-under (children 5-under eat free).
Free class on Container Gardening
Sunday, April 3: A free class at Green Barn Garden Center: “Container Gardening For All Seasons,” will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Learn how to make your container planters stand out all year long. Soil, containers, plants, and fertility will be discussed. They will demonstrate ideas for early spring planters and show you options for the rest of the year. Vision and hearing loss support group
Tuesday, April 5: A vision and hearing loss support group will meet from 12:30-1:30/2 p.m. at the SACS (Senior Activity Center Services), 322 NW 3rd Ave, Cambridge. Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services, St. Cloud, and Diane Leonard, Consultant and Joanie Robinson, TED Program, will lead the presentation. Program for beginning caregivers
Tuesday, April 5: Powerful Tools for Caregivers will be offered at GracePointe Crossing, Gables East from 3:30 to 5 p.m. This is an educational program designed to provide caregivers with the tools they need to care for themselves, such as stress reduction, improving self-confidence, better communicating feelings, balancing their lives, increasing the ability to make tough decisions, and locating helpful resources. No charge for this program except if you decide to keep the handbook. It will run for six Tuesdays through May 10. Women’s Cancer Support Group
Thursday, April 7: A women’s cancer support group will meet from 2:-3:30 p.m. This meeting will focus on issues specific to women who are dealing with cancer.
