PowderPuff Car Care class in Braham
Learn basic common knowledge that every driver should know before they get behind the wheel. Do you know why it’s important not to let your vehicle run on a quarter-tank of fuel or less? How often should you change all the fluids that keep your vehicle running?
Instructor Jenny Carlson will cover various topics along with learning how to change a flat tire (weather permitting). Free tire gauge to each participant. The last 30 minutes will be a question and answer session with certified mechanic Bob Brown.
Class will be held on Tuesday, April 12 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Braham Area High School. Cost is just $5. Pre-registration is required by April 5. Free parent workshop: ‘Over-Indulgence’
Super Size… Extreme…To the Max. Buying more than a child can remember? Allowing children unlimited access to today’s technology? And letting children set their own rules? This describes the American culture today and affects our children at home as well as at school.
Join presenter Peggy Imholte, a Wellness Education and Parenting Specialist with Resource Training and Solutions, on Thursday, April 14 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Braham Area High School to discuss this topic.
The workshop is based on the book, How much is enough? Everything you need to know to steer clear of Over-Indulgence and raise likeable, responsible and respectful children by Jean Illsley Clarke, PH.D.
