Many people are familiar with the day-to-day routines and relationships that characterize life in a small town. But there’s more to living than just being alive, and it’s easy to overlook the extraordinary truths that lie hidden under the surface of ordinary moments.
That’s the insight that the cast and crew of “Our Town,” will attempt to challenge audiences with when Braham Area High School opens the doors for its spring play on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 3 at 2 p.m.
“Our Town” was written by Thorton Wilder and originally premiered in 1938. It explores the lives, marriages and deaths of families in the tiny New England town of Grover’s Corners at the turn of the 20th century and urges viewers to appreciate life, “every, every minute.”
