Braham Girls headed to Class AA Championship

The Braham Girls are headed to the Class AA State Basketball Championship for the second straight year.

Braham defeated Providence Academy 59-50 during the AA Semifinals held Friday night, March 18, at the Target Center. The game was a hard, physical game, that had seven lead changes.

Braham Sophomore Rebekah Dahlman lead all scorers with 26 points. Other scorers for Braham included Kelsey Sorenson-Giffrow with 17, Liz Anderson with 6, Hannah Dahlman with 5, Austyn Eng with 3 and Katie Nickles with 2.

Braham now faces a rematch with the Class AA defending champions, Minnehaha Academy of Minneapolis, for the State Championship. The game will be held Saturday, March 19 at 2 p.m., at the Target Center.
