Free Community Dinner
Thursday, March 17: A free Community Dinner will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Use the downstairs entrance. Everyone is welcome to join for a time of fellowship and a meal. Call the church office at 763-444-9201 with questions.
Cambridge Library Book Sale
March 18 & 19: Stop by the meeting room of the Cambridge Public Library on Friday, March 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday, March 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and browse the collection of adult, teen and children’s materials. Hardcovers will be $.50, softcovers – $.25 and any nonprint items, $.25. On Saturday, March 19 only, they will have a $2 bag sale. Bring your own grocery bag and fill it for $2. Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase new materials for all East Central Regional Library branches.

Free Beginner Vegetable Gardening Class
March 19 & 20: A Free Beginner Vegetable Gardening Class at Green Barn Garden Center will be held March 19, from 10-11 a.m. or Sunday, March 20, from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Learn the basics so you can get started with vegetable gardening and enjoy fresh produce from your own back yard. Pancake Breakfast to benefit track team
Sunday, March 20: The Cambridge-Isanti track team is sponsoring a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Christ the King Parish Hall, 305 Fern Street, Cambridge. All proceeds will be used to benefit the C-I high school track team. Tickets are $6. each (kids under 6 eat free) available at the door.

Sunday, March 20: The Isanti Lions will be cooking breakfast to raise money to benefit groups and individuals in the Isanti community who need help from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Isanti Community Center. Let’s come together and enjoy eggs and ham and pancakes with orange juice and milk and coffee to help our neighbors.
Cambridge Senior Dance
Wednesday, March 23: The Cambridge Senior Dance, at the Cambridge American Legion, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., and will feature the Chmielewski Fun Time Band. Cost is $5.
Happy Birthday Legion
Thursday, March 24: The Howard McCarty American Legion Post 290 in Cambridge, will be celebrating the Legion’s 93rd Birthday beginning at 7 p.m. at the Post home. All members are welcome to join. Hors d’oeuvres, cake and ice cream will be served.
Relay for Life kick-off meeting

Community Garden meeting
Tuesday, March 29: A pre-season Community Garden meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at the Isanti County Government Center. Registration is open for garden plots now at the Isanti County Extension Office. The Garden is located in Cambridge, near the intersection of 18th Ave. SW and East Rum River Drive South. Taste of Isanti County
Thursday, March 31: The Cambridge-Isanti Rotary Club invites you to the 6th annual Taste of Isanti County event, featuring more than 20 restaurants. It will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Armed Forces Reserve and Community Center in Cambridge. Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
Friday, April 1: The Cambridge Christ the King Knights off Columbus will host its annual Lenten Fish Fry Dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Catholic Parish Hall. All-you-can-eat fish, cole slaw, potatoes and more for $9 adults, $5 children 12-under (children 5-under eat free).

Tuesday, April 5: A vision and hearing loss support group will meet from 12:30-1:30/2 p.m. at the SACS (Senior Activity Center Services), 322 NW 3rd Ave, Cambridge.
