Critter Control-Gophers, Moles and small rodents
Thursday, March 10: Join the Isanti County Master Gardeners and learn all about the native wildlife that we share our space with. A presentation will be given by Isanti County Master Gardeners Holly Anderson and Ken Schroepfer at the Isanti County Government Center in Cambridge at 7 p.m. All classes are open to the public.
Knights of Columbus Fish Fry
Friday, March 11: The Cambridge Christ the King Knights off Columbus will host its annual Lenten Fish Fry Dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. at the Catholic Parish Hall. All-you-can-eat fish, cole slaw, potatoes and more for $9 adults, $5 children 12-under (children 5-under eat free). The Knights will host another Lenten Fish Fry on Friday, April 1.
ECFE Family Garage Sale
Saturday, March 12: Early Childhood Family Education will host a family garage sale from 8 a.m. to noon at the Cambridge Primary and Intermediate Schools. Proceeds benefit the early childhood programs. $1 donation appreciated at the door. Kids’ clothing, strollers, high chairs, books, toys, and more.

Surplus Food Distribution
Tuesday, March 15: Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution. Registration and food distribution from 3 to 5:30 p.m. (or until food supply is depleted) at the Isanti County Fairgrounds, 3101 Hwy. 95 NE, Cambridge. Food is distributed to one person per address. Volunteers are needed anytime between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to help with various tasks. Call 763-691-9035 for more info.
Men’s Cancer Support Group
Tuesday, March 15: A support group for men dealing with cancer will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. Men can discuss anything about their cancer journey or the journey of someone in their life. Facilitator, Jim Donahue, will lead the group in discussion.  All men dealing with any cancer, in any way, are encouraged to attend. Refreshments provided. Minnesota author at Cambridge Library
Tuesday, March 15: The Cambridge Library will host Minnesota author Chuck Logan to talk about his new book, “South of Shiloh.” The event is free and open to the public and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Seven County Senior Federation
Wednesday, March 16: The Isanti County, Seven County Senior Federation, will meet at SAC’s on Third in Cambridge at 1 p.m. All are welcome.
St. Patrick’s Day Party
Wednesday, March 16: Cambridge Senior Dining will host a St. Patrick’s Day Party at 11:15 a.m. An Irish Sing-A-Long with Pat Stenmo will be held. The following menu will be served: Irish Stew, Crusty Bread, Crunchy Romaine Salad, Lime Jello, and Cookie, will be served. RSVP at 763-689-6555.
Parkinson’s Support Group
Wednesday, March 16: The Parkinson’s Support Group will hold its regular meeting at 11:30 a.m. at GracePointe Crossing (formerly Grandview), 1545 River Hills Parkway, Cambridge. Individuals with Parkinson’s, their families, friends, and caregivers are welcome to attend.
Fundraising basketball game at CMS
Friday, March 18: Cambridge Middle School will be hosting its 4th annual “Staff vs. Students” basketball game at 8 a.m. The proceeds go to Kids Against Hunger and our local food shelves. Students are asked to donate $1 and adults $2 to watch the game. Nutrition Services are teaching our students that you can have fun while raising money for those in need.
Cambridge Senior Dance
Wednesday, March 23: The Cambridge Senior Dance, at the Cambridge American Legion, will be held from 1 to 4 p.m., and will feature the Chmielewski Fun Time Band. Cost is $5.
