If you are a NASCAR fan then Representative Chip Cravaack voted for you. He backed spending on NASCAR in the defense budget. Representative McCollum, from Minnesota’s 4th District, sponsored a bill to discontinue that wasteful spending. Representative Cravaack voted ‘no.’
Instead, he voted for a second jet engine costing $450 million for the F35. Why does a useless jet need two motors? But, if you wanted a job in Ohio at a jet engine factory, he voted for you. Eventually, that engine was rejected by the House of Representatives. So, you lose anyway.
I guess I would ask Representative Cravaack to put that $450 million toward high speed rail that stops in Cambridge.
For myself, I am waiting for Representative Cravaack to vote me. Anyone else?
