Family Pathways needs companionship volunteer

Family Pathways needs a Companionship Volunteer for weekly visits with a gentleman in Braham who has been smoking for over 60 years and doesn’t intend to stop now. But he’d still like some company. Can you help?

Family Pathways Senior Services is looking for dedicated, loving people to help seniors stay in their homes. Friendly visits and non-medical respite can help seniors to continue living independently. Each pairing is different; some volunteers play games, others reminisce, while others assist with grocery shopping or accompany their client to local medical appointments.  With help from our staff, the volunteer and the client decide what works for them.

A visit can be the highlight of the week for a senior who lives alone. You can make a difference. Would you consider helping the elderly with a friendly visit? Training is provided. (Non-smokers are also always welcome)
