Bethel University Chorale to perform locally

The Women’s Chorale of Bethel University, St. Paul, Minn., will present a program of sacred choral music as they travel on their concert tour through Minnesota and Wisconsin March 31 through April 4. The group will perform at North Isanti Baptist Church on Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m.

The Bethel Women’s Chorale is under the musical direction of Dr. Nancy Parker. The chorale is a select ensemble of 43 women who perform the finest traditional and contemporary works written for treble voices.

Each school year the chorale travels and performs regional and national music tours during the spring semester. The chorale is known for its creative and inspiring programs crafted for audiences of all ages. In addition to touring, the chorale performs in Bethel’s annual Festival of Christmas and Spring Music Festival performances. The chorale has participated in the Minnesota American Choral Directors Association Treble Festival and was selected to sing at the 2009 Minnesota Music Educators Association Midwinter In-Service Clinic at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
