Kim Barbara Ziegler, 55, Princeton, Minn., died Monday, February 21, 2011
Kim Ziegler was born March 16, 1955 at Swedish Hospital, Minneapolis, to
James and Ramona (Groskreutz) Nagy. In her growing up years she lived
with her parents in California, France, Virginia, Las Vegas, and
returned to Cambridge, Minn. and graduated in 1973 from Cambridge High
School. Kim was given a 1964 Mustang by her dad for graduation.
Kim lived in Minneapolis for over 20 years before moving to Princeton two years ago. She worked for a towing service, auto supply company and the past five years has been with Walgreens on Hiawatha, in Minneapolis. Kim enjoyed driving her vehicles and loved her animals, “her animals were her kids.” She was very artistic and spent time sewing, painting, drawing, and knitting. Kim was a very, very independent person.
Kim is survived by her mother: Ramona Nagy of Princeton, Minn.; sister: Shauna (Joel) Whitcomb of Princeton, Minn.; nephews: Shane (Kate, fiancée) Sienko; Joshua (Christie) Whitcomb; niece: Jackie (Rob) Bremer; and uncle: Larry (Shirley) Groskreutz of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her father: James Nagy; her grandparents; and her former husband: Richard Ziegler.
A service was held Feb. 27 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton, Minn. Rev. Don Britt of the First Congregational – UCC officiated. Burial was in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Princeton, Minn. Arrangements with Williams Dingmann, Princeton.
