Spring Lake Lutheran welcomes new pastor

Spring Lake Lutheran Church, rural North Branch, is pleased to introduce Pastor Linda Wahlstrom.

 

Spring Lake Lutheran Church, rural North Branch, is pleased to introduce Pastor Linda Wahlstrom.

Pastor Linda began her service with Spring Lake Lutheran on Jan. 1, 2011, following her retirement a year ago from full time parish ministry. After graduation from Minneapolis Roosevelt, Augsburg College and Luther Seminary, she served rural congregations in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

Pastor Linda and her husband, Richard, live in White Bear Lake. They have two children; daughter Shannon is a librarian who farms in North Dakota with her husband Jim. Their son, Jason, serves as an ELCA pastor in New Hope. He is married to Ann, a children’s librarian in Blaine. Pastor Linda and Richard have four grandchildren.

Pastor Linda is enjoying her service with Spring Lake Lutheran and is looking forward to becoming more familiar with the area.

All are invited to attend the services at Spring Lake Lutheran. The Contemporary service on Sunday mornings begins at 8:30 a.m. and the traditional at 10:45 a.m. The Education hour and fellowship is at 9:35 a.m. Spring Lake Lutheran is located 9 miles east of Cambridge on Hwy. 95, then one block north on Erickson Road.
