Many fun events planned in March
Helen Remmers––Isanti Senior Dining
Will tomorrow be a day for shovels and snow boots, or will it be
skates, or maybe even the fishermen’s waders? In Minnesota it is wise
to remember what our Scouts are taught….be prepared. Then accept the
day and with thanks that it is a great place to live and know things
could have been much worse.

Whatever the day brings, remember Monday and Wednesdays at the Isanti Community Center, senior diners gather together at 11 a.m. for fun, fellowship with one another, and a nutritious meal served at noon. Contributions suggested for the meal and what ever the entertainment of the day is $3.50 – $7 for ages 60+ and volunteers. Guests under 60 -$7. No one over 60 will be denied a meal due to inability to pay. For reservations, questions, Meals-on-Wheels, or further information call 763-444-6320.
In February we enjoyed wearing our favorite sports logos and the Super Bowl theme; education nutrition with Ruth Thunstrom; a time with our Mayor George Wimmer, and the listening pleasure brought to us by Gail Grell in a Valentine decorated atmosphere, including treats and prizes.
Bingo days are also some of our fun times together with prizes of their choice when a Bingo is made. (Thanks to our shopper and to those who donate prizes). Thanks to all who helped make February a great month for our seniors.
