Northern Europe Travel Film
Saturday, Feb. 12: See “Northern Europe – A Journey to Iceland, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Bergen, Norwegian Fjords, Prague, London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Germany’s Kiel Canal, Antwerp and Paris” narrated live by filmmaker Marlin Darrah at 1 p.m. at the Richard G. Hardy Performing Arts Center at Cambridge-Isanti High School in Cambridge. The program opens with Icelandic music by Gus Audunsson. Tickets are available at 763-689-6189 or at the door.

PFLAG monthly meeting

Surplus Food Distribution
Tuesday, Feb. 15: Cambridge Surplus Food Distribution. Registration and food distribution from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Isanti County Fairgrounds, 3101 Hwy. 95 NE, Cambridge. Food is distributed to one person per address. Volunteers are needed anytime between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. to help with various tasks. Call 763-691-9035 for more info.

Parkinson’s Support Group Meeting
Wednesday, Feb. 16: Parkinson’s Support Group will hold their regular monthly meeting from 10-11:30 a.m. at GracePointe Crossing (formerly Grandview), 1545 River Hills Parkway, Cambridge. Individuals with Parkinson’s, their families, friends, and caregivers are welcome to attend. Come and enjoy the fellowship, light refreshments, interests, and concerns of others living with Parkinson’s.

Free Community Dinner
Thursday, Feb. 17: A free Community Dinner will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in Isanti from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Use the downstairs entrance. Everyone is welcome to join for a time of fellowship and a meal. Call the church office at 763-444-9201 with questions.

Moonlight ski in Braham
Friday, Feb. 18: There will be a bonfire and moonlight skiing at Pleasantview Park just west of the elementary school in Braham. Braham Park Board and Healthy Community Partners are co-sponsoring the event from 6 to 9 p.m. The trails will be groomed and hot dogs, hot cider, and s’mores will be served. Bring your own roasting sticks.

Ruby’s Pantry

Friends of Grass Lake

Cambridge Senior Dance
Wednesday, Feb. 23: The Cambridge Senior Dance featuring the music of Tony Jambor, will be held from 1-4 p.m. at the Cambridge American Legion, 200 2nd Ave SE. There will also be a celebration in honor of Dorris Clark’s 85th Birthday.

Baked Potato Dinner Fundraiser
Friday, Feb. 25: A Baked Potato Dinner with all the fixings will be held at the Cambridge Helios Lodge, 2nd Ave. & Cypress, from 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $6 per person in advance ($8 at the door) and children under 12 are $4. The dinner is a fundraiser to benefit Minnesota Masonic Charities, which contributes to all the Lodges in Minnesota, Scholarships, Cancer, Matching Funds, Harbor Room, Relay for Life, National Night Out, Special Sportsman Shooting Sports and more. The event is co-sponsored by local Knights of Columbus Harbor Room.
