Isanti police give students some sobering facts

Isanti
Police Officers Rod Barrows and Adam Gau stopped by Mr. Kolbeck’s 8th
grade health class at Isanti Middle School on Thursday, Jan. 20 to talk
with students about the dangers of drinking and driving. The officers
told students that one in three people are affected by an
alcohol-related car crash. Although the students don’t have their
licenses yet, the officers warned that kids who try drinking at a young
age are seven times more likely to be arrested for a DWI in their lives.
