Wanted: Suspects in armed robbery at North Branch home

Two suspects involved in an armed robbery that left a North Branch homeowner tied up and injured are wanted by authorities.

Two suspects involved in an armed robbery that left a North Branch homeowner tied up and injured are wanted by authorities.

North Branch Police responded to the incident at a residence in the Countryside Trailer Ct., 38725 12th Ave., at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 15. Upon arrival, officers learned two unknown suspects, one in possession of a semi-automatic handgun, entered the residence and tied up the homeowner.

The suspects stole an undisclosed amount of cash and a television set before fleeing the residence. The victim received minor injuries during the incident.

One suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, about 6’1” tall, weighing between 230-250 lbs., with a handlebar-style mustache, wearing a cream-colored jacket, blue jeans and a dark-colored hat possibly with a light colored stripe.

The other suspect is also described as a white or Hispanic male, about 5’10” tall, weighing between 180-200 lbs., wearing a dark-colored jacket.

The incident is currently under investigation by the North Branch Police Department and Chisago County Sheriff’s Office.
