New high score beats defending M-8 champs Tuesday night

Gymnasts 2nd at Panther Invite

The Cambridge-Isanti gymnasts knocked off defending Mississippi 8 champ Big Lake 148.075-139.375, setting a new season-high score in the process Jan. 18. That win sets up the Bluejackets for a big conference meet in two weeks.

The next step the Jackets have to take to secure the conference title is a win at Becker Feb. 3. The Bulldogs, ranked 2nd in Class A, narrowly defeated Big Lake back in December.

Solbrack also set a career-high 37.7 All-Around score, adding a 9.2 on the Bars. Vogelpohl led on the Bars with a 9.35, and Nassif led the Vaulters with her 9.45.
