Rev. Paul Reynolds, assistant pastor of the Stanchfield Baptist Church, has accepted a call to serve the 1st Baptist Church of Elk Horn, Iowa.
On Sunday, Jan. 16, Pastor Paul will preach at both the 9 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. worship services at Stanchfield Baptist. At 2 p.m. a Service of Recognition will be held in the sanctuary of the church. This will be followed by a reception and time of fellowship in the lower auditorium. The public is invited to attend both morning worship, and the afternoon service of recognition and reception.
Pastor Paul and his wife Melody have lived in the Cambridge area approximately 17 years as he served as chaplain at Grandview Christian Home (presently GracePointe Crossing Gables West) for 12 years, and as assistant pastor at Stanchfield for the last five years. He has been active in the community, Braham Ministerial, East Central Baptist Ministerial, Cambridge hospital chaplaincy and in other capacities.
