Jacket Boys Hockey hits 10-goal mark twice in three games

Cambridge-Isanti gets wins over Becker-Big Lake and North Metro


Ten different players scored for Cambridge-Isanti in a 10-2 Saturday matinee victory over Becker-Big Lake Jan. 8. Josh Klingseisen and Cody Horbacz both had 1 goal & 2 assists for the Bluejackets (6-7-2) who evened their Mississippi 8 record at 1-1.
Also finding the net against the Eagles were Kurtis Grimm, Peter Storlie, Brandon Ziebarth, T. J. Pagel, Tim Holter, Jordan Locken, Brennan Osen and Ryan Epsen. Jared Knutson came up with 16 saves in the C-I goal.

Rogers 6, C-I 2
A penalty-filled game saw the Royals jump out to a 4-1 lead in the second period and keep rolling to send the Bluejackets to a loss in their first Mississippi 8 battle of the season. T. J. Pagel and Josh Klingseisen scored the two C-I goals. Rogers, the defending M-8 champs, scored two power-play goals and outshot the Bluejackets 44-15.

The Bluejackets got their record back to .500 with a non-conference win at Park Center. Brandon Ziebarth, Kurtis Grimm and Josh Klingseisen scored 2 goals each. Single goals were compiled by Brennan Osen, Kurtis Grimm, Peter Storlie, Zack Heuring and Sam Renier.
