He will give his presentation twice on Monday, Jan. 24 at 2 p.m. and again at 7 p.m. at the Cambridge-Isanti District #911 Education Center Community Room at 625 Main St. N. in Cambridge.

Rollie will share how he was trained at Edison High School and completed basic training at Camp Walters in Texas. He’ll tell about his battle experience in the infantry on Cebu Island in the Philippines and his involvement in the occupation of Japan after V-J Day.

• The second presentation in the series will be on “Our Experiences in Afghanistan and Iraq” by Mike Galligan and Steve Grandgenett on Monday, March 28. These will be a great opportunities to hear veterans tell their stories of their experiences and to get a better understanding of other cultures.
