Martin Frawley

Martin N. Frawley, 52, of Isanti and formerly of Minneapolis, died November 3, 2002 at his home.

Funeral services were held Nov. 6 at First Baptist Church in Cambridge with Rev. Terry Port, Rev. Bill Berg, and Rev. Frank Doten officiating. Kathie Nestrud sang "Jesus Loves Me" and "Jesus I Come." Jim Tergelhutter sang "Amazing Love." Nadette Waligora served as organist and the congregation sang "Great is Thy Faithfulness." Pallbearers were Randy Flannery, Jim Frawley, Will Jacobson, Mark Johnson, Todd McGill, Dawn Price, Tom Price, and Bill Richter. Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Martin Norm Frawley was born April 21, 1950 in Madison, WI to Norman and Phyllis Frawley. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a warrant officer, flying helicopters during the Vietnam War. After the war, he earned his fixed wing pilot's license because he loved to fly. While working in the Army Corps of Engineers, Marty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in business at Bethel College in St. Paul. He served for 17 years in the corps and retired in December 1996 as Chief of the Acquisition Branch.

He is survived by his wife, Rochelle; daughter, Alean Frawley of Minneapolis; parents, Norman and Phyllis Frawley of Colorado; sister, Melinda (Dave) Nowak and daughter, Amy of California; brother, Jim (Loretta) Frawley and son, Adam of Colorado; ste-daughter, Dawn (Tom) Price and daughter, Tayloir of Minnetonka, step-son, Todd McGill and his daughter, Randi and financee Kristi of Blaine.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Cambridge Funeral Home-Strike Chapel.
