Help celebrate the season with Cambridge seniors

Do you have a talent, extra time or just want to celebrate the true meaning of the holidays? They are looking for Cambridge community members, young and old and in between, to help celebrate the holidays at Ashland Place Apartments from 10 a.m.-noon and Riverwood Apartments from 1-3 p.m. Dec. 2.

They are looking for classrooms or 4-H groups or other organizations that would like to make cards, Christmas ornaments or small gift items that they can deliver to the seniors; small projects like stamping that you would be willing to share on that day or a donation of goodies for the day's activities.

Some seniors need some assistance addressing Christmas cards as well. If you have a musical talent to add to the festivities that would be great too. Another way you can help during the holidays is to deliver a meal or provide transportation to a senior to go to a church service or special dinner on Christmas or Thanksgiving.
