Local 4-Hers put on haunted house and carnival Oct. 24-25Posted Online: 11/5/02 Isanti County 4-H sponsored its third annual haunted house and carnival at the fairgrounds in Cambridge Oct. 25 & 26. Many attendees on Friday and Saturday kept the carnival games busy, the wagons for the trail ride moving, and the haunted house characters hopping. Over 700 people toured the haunted house while more than 3,100 tickets were sold for the games played at the carnival. 4-H representatives would like to thank everyone in the community that participated in the event. Endless hours were donated by 4-H members, volunteers and families. They give special thanks to everyone who donated time, creative ideas and energy helping with everything from set-up and construction to clean-up, working the games, being in the scenes, working at the East Stand and with endless other tasks essential to a successful event. They especially thank this year's co-chairs, Jim Frost and Craig Nutt. Plans are already underway for next year's events. Watch for details in October 2003.
