Student NewsPosted Online: 11/13/02 Eric Nelson of Grasston is a member of the Theta Tau Epsilon fraternity at Bemidji State University where he is a senior majoring in industrial technology. Theta Tau Epsilon was founded in 1965 and is the oldest Greek organization on the BSU campus. The group strives to further the academic, social, and service dimensions of its members. The fraternity regularly sponsors participation in campus and community activities that increase awareness and sensitivity in its members. Membership is open to all undergraduate male students. Susan Satrom of Cambridge is taking part in Bemidji State University's student teaching program during the fall semester. Satrom, a senior majoring in physical education, is teaching physical education at Bemidji High School. Education majors must complete a student teaching practicum to earn their degree and acquire their teaching license. They earn real classroom experience with the supervision and guidance of experienced teachers. ©Isanti County News |
